What Is Justification ?

Justification means to be declared righteous before God.

We are all unrighteous, and condemned, in God's Eyes - being sinners both by nature and by practice. 

(Please note that justification  can only be obtained through faith in the finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ, on the Cross).

In "layman`s" terms, this simple explanation is sometimes used to show what being justified  means : "Just as if I'd never sinned."
